Positive Equestrian Program

Volunteering - If you have some extra time and want to help out around the farm, let us know you’re coming on Sign Up Genius or contact us directly. We always appreciate the help and you can enjoy some peaceful horse/donkey time around the farm. This is great for adults looking some exercise, time outdoors, and a great team of people! It’s also perfect for kids who can’t commit to a schedule, but want to enjoy extra horse time and learn about animal care.

Working Students - This option is ideal for people who can commit to a regular schedule and want to work consistently with their favorite rescue horse. They’ll learn all about caring for equines with regular chores, as well as medical and nutritional care, relationship focused time, positive reinforcement training, groundwork, and occasional riding.

Leasing - This is perfect for the person who dreams of having their own horse, who wants to work regularly with a horse, progress together towards goals, and really build that special relationship. These students will learn all about horse care with chores, medical care, nutrition, as well as relationship building time, positive training, groundwork, and regular riding opportunities. As well as extra opportunities for special time with their horse.
